Chapter 24-His Curse and Her Wish

Your POV

You felt relieve and utter joy when you saw Arthur knock that damn Spaniard to the ground into the ocean.

His back was turned to you but he had won.

He had one.

Yet...there was something different in him. Something you couldn't explain.

"Arthur..."

Suddenly, he spun around as you gasped seeing his true form.

He was in his curse.

His eyes glowed a crimson red like blood as blood trickled down every cut on his body. A streak of ghostly white in his dirtied blond hair.

"Arthur..."

He wasn't himself anymore.

Suddenly, he flew towards you with incredibly speed for someone with cuts surrounding his body.

"Ello Love. Did you enjoy the show?"

This wasn't Arthur.

This was his curse talking.

His voice was engulfed in a dark form as he spoke to you in a voice of a horrific monster. Tears were beginning to well in you eyes. You tried to stand up but you were more concerned for the bloody cuts engulfing his body.

He winced as the curse slowly devoured his soul.

"Please Arthur we must leave now." You whispered at him. "Please we must go." You touched his face as he growled and snatched your wrist. His bloodthirsty breath on your face as he spoke.

"No." He growled as his red eyes pierced into you. "I believe I'm not done with my job."

Your hands trembled in the cold sand. His accent floating in you head when you watched in horror as he took out his own silver dagger.

He was going to kill you.

"Arthur you must listen!" You pleaded as you (e/c) eyes widened watching his cursed form smile and hold the silver dagger on his lap. "This isn't you...you have to fight this curse!"

He only growled as his hands shook.

"What do you know about this curse __________?!? What do you know about my pain and suffering? Do you know how many people I killed with my hands. Your really afraid of me you liar." His blood stained looking eyes narrowed.

You felt a jab of pain in your stomach as the full moon watched from above.

"You never felt so much pain...there's nothing that can help me...I'm going to die anyway today! Not like God will ever forgive me for what I've done..." He held the dagger gripping it.

"No Arthur your wrong." He lifted his head to stare once more at you with his red eyes.

This wasn't him.

He was wrong.

He opened his lips to speak but his heart lurched and he gripped his chest as the pain was even more hurtful.

And hot with white pain.

"Even you won't forgive me to know the things I've done!" He screamed in agony into the night sky as he lifted the dagger up trembling.

Little did you know the real Arthur was trying to emerge.

You stared at him you back against the trunk of the tree he had pushed you onto before.

"Arthur..." Your voice called to him. You watched his figure as his red eyes emerged with tears scraping into his cuts on his face as they dropped into the sand.

"You-you don't understand ____________!" He screamed as he brought the dagger down to pierce into your own beating heart but-

Suddenly, you pulled him in before he could pierce into you as you held him in a warm embracing hug...

Arthur's POV

I watched from my form as my twisted curse wrung my heart and twisted my feelings...

why had she brought me in to embrace her?

I couldn't see her face but I was frozen in shock as she was trembling. Trying to hold back and tears as she spoke softly to me.

"Arthur...if your even listening to me in there...I've always loved you since the moment I had met you....if you could only listen to me....I would forgive you for whatever you've done...because I know who you truly are....

and this...this isn't you."

Suddenly, I felt my eyes change back to green as I listened to her as she spoke genuinely to me.

She was crying in my shoulder.

"_____________...." I cried into her.

I felt her stop trembling when I dropped that wretched dagger from my grasp.

"I love you...I really do."

I felt her body warm in happiness as she hugged my tighter.

"I knew with was really you..." She whispered into my ear...

but those were her last words I could hear...

until I felt a shuriken as it pierced into my heart from behind me and the world freeze around me.

And I heard ___________ scream into the night.
